A crane is a machine that performs cyclic and intermittent movements. The picking equipment lifts the items from the picking place, then moves horizontally to a designated address to lower the items, and then performs reverse movement to return the picking equipment to its original position for the next cycle.
A crane is a machine that performs cyclic and intermittent movements. The pickup equipment lifts the items from the pickup location, then moves horizontally to a designated location to lower the items, and then performs reverse movement to return the pickup equipment to its original position for the next cycle. Cranes are divided into different types according to their structures and functions. They can generally be divided into three categories: light and small lifting equipment, bridge type lifting machinery and jib type cranes.
With the widespread use of cranes, various difficult problems continue to arise during the installation process of the crane, and safety issues cannot be ignored. Therefore, safety equipment needs to be installed during the bridge crane process.
Safety equipment beneficial to cranes
1. The hoisting mechanism must be equipped with an over-hoisting limiter. When the hook pulley is lifted 300mm away from the hoisting mechanism frame, the power supply to the motor can be automatically cut off and the motor will stop working. It is a safety device adopted to prevent a collision accident when the crane approaches the end of the trajectory, or a collision accident occurs between two cranes on the same trajectory.
2. Active interlocking equipment is often passed by bare wires on bridge cranes. In order to prevent maintenance personnel from getting electric shock, it is necessary to install an automatic interlocking equipment at the entrance of the cab leading to the vehicle. The buffer is a safety device that absorbs the energy when the crane collides with an object. It takes effect after the crane's brake and end switch fail. When the crane is connected to the track end column, ensure that the crane can park smoothly.
3. Brake is a device that can stop the lifting equipment at any time during the lifting, translation and rotation process and keep the heavy objects at a certain height. It can avoid accidents and meet the needs of the operation. Because the function of the brake is very important for cranes, many accidents are often caused by brake failure or clapping.
